On Tuesday night, Miramichi police used a search warrant regarding an apartment on 5 Cole Crescent. They found a handgun and a shotgun, along with just under 900 pills of meth, some pot; coke, and other drugs. 53 year old Charles Mazerolle will be back in court tomorrow.
Over 90,000 illegal cigarettes have been scooped up in Miramichi. They were found in a vehicle on Route 8 on the 25th of May. They have an estimated tax value of just over 23 thousand dollars to New Brunswick. A 66-year-old Nova Scotia man was arrested and later released and will be in Miramichi Provincial Court later.
