Lorne Grabher says police have now made him take a personalized plate off the front of his vehicle. The Dartmouth man had his last name on his regular Nova Scotia plate, but the Registry of Motor Vehicles revoked it after a complaint. The issue is going to Supreme Court, and Grabher told CBC he was contacted about the Alberta one, which his son also has out there, on Monday.
