Police say a wanted witness in Demarques Shane Beals’ murder trial has been in touch. They’d put out a release about Walter Brooks, who didn’t make arrangements to attend court. Beals is charged with second-degree murder in the 2011 death of Keya Simon, who was stabbed that January in Dartmouth.
