Power has now been restored to all customers on the Acadian Peninsula following Thursday’s violent thunderstorm. 90 customers in all had still been without power at noon on Saturday. 23 homes in Grand Anse saw the lights come back on shortly after that while the remaining 67 customers in Pokeshaw had service restored early Saturday evening. More than 4,000 customers had been without power the day before after the severe storm which brought possible tornadoes to the area.
