A teen-aged competitive motocross driver was airlifted from a race track in King’s County on Saturday afternoon. RCMP tell the CBC that the young man, believed to be 18 or 19-years-old, crashed on the course near Canning around 3:30pm. Police say the driver was completing a test run ahead of today’s main race when he crashed. He was airlifted to a Halifax hospital but there’s been no update on his current condition. Police say no other vehicles were involved and the incident is being treated as an accident.
