A man charged with drug trafficking in Esgenoôpetitj has been denied bail. 35-year-old Jesse Joe of Fredericton is due back in court on the 29th. He was arrested after a pill containing fentanyl was found on the First Nation. The drug is suspected in several overdoses, including a fatal one.
