Gaspé Mi’gmaq communities drop lawsuit over proposed Chaleur Terminals project

Three Gaspé Mi’gmaq communities have dropped a federal lawsuit aimed at stopping Chaleur Terminals’ oil-by-rail project.  They believe it threatens their traditional lands and waters, and the Tribune reports their opposition will continue in other ways.  The project would have two trains bring oil to the Port of Belledune daily, where it would be stored before being shipped out to sea.
