25 year old Jonah Edward Woodman of Hantsport, accused of abusing a small dog on video; has pleaded not guilty.
He will stand trial next year in Kentville court for wilfully causing unnecessary pain or suffering to an animal.
A concerned citizen saw the video and sent it to the SPCA.
