A Sydney man catches a break

One of the men arrested during the police anti-prostitution sting operation in 2015 is free and clear.

68 year old David Wayne Ley of Sydney was due to go to trial on a charge of communicating for the purpose of prostitution but the prosecutor told the judge the Crown was dismissing the charge.  That usually means they have no reasonable prospect of a conviction.

Ley was among 27 men arrested in the sting operation with is the fourth to see the charges dismissed.
