Ceremonies were held this morning to mark the 25th anniversary of the Westray disaster.
26 miners were killed when methane gas and coal dust ignited, sending a huge fireball through the mine on May 9th, 1992. A special ceremony was held this morning at 6:45am at the Westray Miners Memorial Park.
