President Donald Trump was tweeting away after a hearing about his campaigns links to Russian election meddling aimed at Hilary Clinton.
Trump dismissed the alegations as a charade and hoax.
The hearing was about Michael Flynn, whom Trump fired as national security adviser a month after appointing him. The White House says Flynn was fired for misleading top officials about his contacts with Russia’s ambassador.
On another matter, the White House has postponed a meeting today to discuss President Trump’s wish to withdraw the U-S from the landmark international climate deal on global warming. That meeting has been delayed twice now.
His top officials appear divided about what to do about the deal to reduce carbon emmissions in the coming decade. Trump doesn’t believe in global warming.
