Battle of the Atlantic Ceremony in Halifax

The public is invited to attend the Anniversary of the Battle of the Atlantic Ceremony today to commemorate the sacrifices made by the thousands of Canadians who fought so valiantly in the North Atlantic. 72 Canadian merchant vessels were lost to the enemy over the course of the battle to secure supply lines to Europe. The ceremony will take place at 10:55 a.m. this morning at the Naval Memorial at Point Pleasant Park.
