The Port of Belledune is the newest participant in Green Marine, the largest voluntary environmental certification program for the North American maritime industry. Green Marine and the Association of Canadian Port Authorities signed a Memo of Understanding in 2014. All 18 port authorities are now formally involved in reducing the industry’s environmental footprint.
