Halifax Regional Police held its inaugural Voluntary Surrender event Saturday at the Dartmouth North Community Centre. It was an opportunity for people with outstanding non-violent offence warrants to resolve them, of which 19 were. Before the event there were 684 outstanding warrants on file with HRP.
