Halifax police are investigating after a man was assaulted at a hotel on Saturday. Police were called to the Chebucto Inn on Lady Hammond Road shortly after 8am yesterday morning. Police say a 39-year-old man was invited into a hotel room be some men he didn’t know. Once inside he was assaulted and suffered undisclosed injuries. The suspects fled the scene in a car a short time later.
