You’ve seen the viral video of a man being violently hauled off a United Airlines flight because the airline overbooked.
Now Transport Minister Marc Garneau has a tough message for airlines…don’t do that in Canada. Garneau has sent a letter to all airlines operating in Canada that forcibly removing a passenger from an overbooked flight won’t be tolerated. He called the incident appaling.
