The American woman charged in the mass murder plot from a couple of years ago has entered a surprise guilty plea in court.
25 year old Lindsay Souvannarath of Illinois was scheduled to go to trial later this year on a charge of conspiracy to committ murder in connection with the plot to mass murder people at the Halifax Shopping centre on Valentines Day of 2015. She’ll be sentenced in October.
Her co-conspirator 22 year old Randall Steven Shepherd got ten years after pleading guilty. The person who came up with the plot, 19 year old James Gamble, committed suicide as police closed in.
