Patient testifies at doctor’s trial in Bridgewater

A former patient was the first witness at the trial in Bridgewater of a doctor charged with writing prescriptions for 50,000 oxycodone and oxyneo pills which ended up on the streets.

68 year old retired truck driver Merle Chase told court Dr. Sarah Dawn Jones wrote him a prescription for 1 or 2 oxycodone tablets every 4 to 6 hours for 30 days. He testified he got only the one prescription and never paid for any of the drug Jones gave him.
