A 25-year-old man was taken to hospital after being robbed and assaulted in Halifax overnight. Police say the incident occurred around 12:30am this morning in the area of Robie Street and Welsford Street. The victim sustained head injuries and the suspects fled towards the Halifax commons after stealing his phone.
