Woman pleads guilty in deadly accident

A Moncton woman has pleaded guilty to an accident last Remembrance Day in which a 66 year old man was killed.

34 year old Melissa Amanda Lane pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle in a dangerous manner causing the death of Raymond Keays.

Her pickup slammed into Keays’ car at Morton Avenue and MacLaughlin Drive early in the morning of November 11th.

Lane will be back in court for a sentencing hearing May 19th.
