Over the next few weeks, Trout Creek will see Region 8 Service Commission staff walking its banks; gathering flood mapping data.
Letters have been sent out to property owners along Trout Creek to give them notice that they may see a stranger on their land.
Two years ago, RSC 8 formed a regional storm water management committee to study flooding in the area following that major flood in April of 2014 in the Sussex area.
