The Smoking Pig BBQ has gotten the nod from Quispamsis town council regarding a zoning bylaw amendment, which will allow them to apply for a licence to serve beer to its customers this summer season.
The owners plan to serve local beer, though the license would permit spirits that could be offered during special events.
The Smoking Pig BBQ is expected to open for the season on the May long weekend.
