Glace Bay is getting a dialysis unit. The province will begin site and design work this spring to support a six-station satellite unit at Glace Bay Hospital, with the design phase expected to take about eight months. There are 190 people on dialysis in Cape Breton, with 26 patients from Glace Bay expected to use the new unit.
