Man found not criminally responsible for threats

A Moncton man has been found not criminally responsible for threatening to kill City Hall employees.

The Times and Transcript report 45 year old Aaron Charles McGovern underwent a psychiatric evaluation which determined mental illness played a role in February’s incident.  The case has now been turned over to the NB Review Board which will decide with 45 days whether or not McGovern is ready to be re-integrated into the community, whether any conditions should be imposed or how his illness should be treated.
