A woman alleged in Kentville court that her drug addiction and threats of being sent back to prison were used to control her and sexually exploit her, according to the Kings County News.
The woman, whose identity is protected by a broadcast ban; was the first Crown witness to testify in the trial of 60 year old Tracey Donald Dodds of Wolfville.
Dodds is up on six charges, including using threats of violence for the purpose of compelling the alleged victim to perform certain sexual acts and trafficking in hydromorphone.
