The snow days keep piling up and an education expert says the numbers are reaching crisis proportions.
Paul Bennett of Schoolhouse Consulting in Halifax says an average of 12 days have been lost in the various school districts around the province this year and compared that to wintery Winnipeg where snow days are rare…sometimes none in a year.
He says Nova Scotia should consider how some school boards in northern U-S states move classes online instead of losing a day of teaching.
