NBCC honoured for awareness work for murdered and missing Indigenous women

NBCC has been honoured for its work bringing attention to murdered and missing Indigenous women. Gertrude Nicholas and Marlene Ward of Red Teepee Creations created seven wooden Feathers of Understanding, which were presented at a ceremony today in Fredericton.  The college holds annual Sisters in Spirit vigils at all campuses, and has the Aboriginal Bursary among its efforts.
