A New Brunswick couple say they have been bombarded with phone calls after they ticked off a scam artist.
Sandy and Art Baxter say they got a phone call from a fraudster seeking computer information. Her husband told the person they didn’t have a computer. The Baxters say their phone was soon ringing off the hook with calls from all over the U-S.
Experts warn against engaging in adversarial conversations with these fraudsters because they can retaliate and spoof your phone number so you end up inundated by unwanted calls.
