Members of St. Thomas Baptist Church in North Preston gathered at the community centre across the street yesterday to hold a healing service. The church was damaged by fire last week.
Metro reports Reverand Wallace Smith spoke of how the structure was just a building…that the congregation is the actual church. He also said the cause of the fire was deemed to be a faulty motor. The church is covered by insurance, but donations have been pouring in as well.
