RCMP officers and fire fighters will face off in a charity fundraising hockey game Friday to honour a person they consider a hero…Becca Schofield.
Firefighter Christopher Jackson is organzing the game as a fund raiser which he hopes will become an annual event. Jackson told the Times and Transcript the Beccatoldmeto Battle of the Badges Charity Hockey Game will be dedicated to the Riverview teen because of her kindness campaign which has gone viral around the world.
As per Schofield’s wishes, admission to the game will be collected for the Sears National Kids Cancer Ride in September.
