David Alston, the chief entrepreneur in residence for the New Brunswick government was at the Sussex chamber of commerce annual general meeting, where he said we should continue to look at creative ways of structuring government systems, to streamline and stop duplication of processes and resources in government.
He’s also a big backer of a proposed geo-thermal project at the old PCS mine.
The outgoing president of the Sussex chamber, Ivan Graham; added that it was a proud year for the local chamber in helping the towns Economic Development team draft the strategic business plan.
