The Trudeau Government is closer to buying 18 Super Hornet fighters, hoping to have the deal finalized by the end of this year.
The feds have sent a letter to the American government outlining exactly what is needed in the fighters, when they are needed and what economic benefits Canada expects. Boeing will draw up a formal proposal by the fall and submit it to Congress.
