Yesterday’s meeting to provide clarification on the Cobequid Pass tolls gave a quicker end date than speculated by some. DOT and local officials met, with the former saying tolls could be done as soon as 2019 or 2020. Jamie Baillie has accused the government of keeping revenue that could’ve been put down on the debt, but because the deal is bond financing a lump sum is needed to wipe it out.
