Fishermen in the northern part of New Brunswick have until March 20th to get their ice fishing sheds off the ice, the previous deadline was March 31st.
The most popular ice fishing areas are in the Richardsville section of Campbellton, Shaw’s Cove in Dalhousie Junction; and beside the marina in Dalhousie.
Failure to remove an ice fishing shack could result in a six hundred dollar fine.
