The lawyer for the cab driver acquitted of sexual assault says he has no comment on previous allegations against the man.
Court documents show Bassam Al-Rawi was accused of a sexual offence by another woman five years ago, although charges were never laid. Police say they are reopening an investigation against a cab driver and have been in touch with the alleged victim, but would not confirm the suspect’s name.
