Police are investigating after teenage girls were approached yesterday afternoon by two men in a white pickup in the west end.
The three girls were walking on Chebucto Road near Harvard Street when the truck pulled up and one of the men told them to get in the truck. They quickly walked away across the Oxford School property but the pickup followed them for awhile before leaving.
Police say it was a white Chevy pickup with silver trim and a black tool box across the bed. The driver was a heavy set man in his 50s with a beanie of ball cap and dark coat. The passenger was a man in his 30s with average build, dark hair and full beard.
Police are investigating whether there’s a connection to a similiar incident February 22nd on Greenpark Close.
