New Minas passes motion against hosting Apple Blossom parade

New Minas has passed a motion that removes its support for hosting the Apple Blossom parade.  A special meeting of the village commission was held today, with Chairperson Dave Chaulk saying the festival came to the village about hosting, and the latter doesn’t want to be caught in the middle of a dispute between the festival and Town of Kentville.  New Minas hopes the event returns to Kentville, as per the wishes of most residents.
