RCMP are investigating emails containing sexually explicit material that were sent to students at the Universite de Moncton on the weekend.
The university says students and security staff first noticed the emails Saturday and they have now been deleted from the university’s server. but thousands of people saw them. University President Raymond Theberge condemned the emails and asked everyone to join the university’s efforts to prevent rape culture and condemn all forms of sexual violence.
The emails apparently originated in Europe.
