The province will put $500,000 towards Curl Moncton’s strategic infrastructure project. It’ll expand the organization’s Lockhart Avenue venue to a 10-ice-sheet facility from its present five. Beyond more opportunities for locals, it would give the building a better chance at hosting national and international events. Funding is conditional on a federal contribution, plus Curl Moncton securing the rest.
