Surgery patients affected by this week’s cleaning issues at the Halifax Infirmary have a low risk of an allergic reaction. 61 may have been exposed to residual chemicals after washers were prepared incorrectly, but the Health Authority told CBC all those surgeries may have no access to impacted instruments.
