NS Immigration Numbers Highest in Decades

Nova Scotia welcomed more immigrants to the province in 2016 than it has in decades. The Immigration Department says more than 48-hundred immigrants, including 15-hundred refugees, arrived in Nova Scotia in the first 10 months of 2016. That’s the highest number of newcomers to the province since years following the second world war.
