Police raid pot shops

Police raided 6 marijuanna dispensaries around the city yesterday arresting 12 people. All are being charged with possession for the purposes of trafficking.

While the Trudeau Government plans to loosen marijuanna laws in the spring…the old laws still apply, according to CBC.  Police Chief John Bates said as the chief law enforcement officer for a community, you have to make a decision whether you’re just going to turn a blind eye to scofflaws…or if you’re going to take a stand and enforce the laws of the land.

If the dispensaries reopen police say they will be back.
