Tools stolen from worksite

Halifax Regional Police are requesting the public’s help in a theft of tools from a Halifax work site that was reported last week.

On January 11 at approximately 4 p.m., police responded to a building in the 2200 block of Brunswick Street for a theft. A 56-year-old man advised he had been working at this location and had left tools at the work site. He had been away from the site since December 23, 2016 and when he returned on January 11, noted several of his tools were missing. Of these tools, many were quite large and would have been noticeable when being removed from the premises. The tools include a bench planer, palm sander, miter saw, compressor, sawzall and others.
