On January 13 at 9:08 p.m., Police conducted a traffic stop in the area of Highfield Park Drive and Victoria Road in Dartmouth. The driver and two passengers, a man and a woman were taken into custody.
As a result of the traffic stop, investigators executed a search warrant at a residence in the 2000 block of Isleville Street in Halifax and located a quantity of crack cocaine, a replica handgun as well as drug paraphernalia.
28-year-old Maurice Sinclaire Parris and a 25-year-old woman, both from Halifax, each face possession for the purpose of trafficking in cocaine charges.
