Second Attempt Tonight to Tow Grounded Cape Breton Tanker

The Canadian Coast Guard and marine salvage company are hoping for better luck tonight when they try for a second time to tow a grounded tanker off the coast of Cape Breton. The Mexican owned fuel tanker vessel Arca One suffered engine failure and ran a ground off Little Pond last Tuesday. The firm hired to move the vessel, McKeil Marine, says conditions to move the vessel should be ideal this evening. If successful the vessel will be towed into Sydney harbour for repairs.
