The province has asked the NSTU to try conciliation again.
Premier Stephen McNeil is out of town but sent a request to the Labour Minister to try concilliation again with open minds and reasonable perspectives. So the two sides will sit down Saturday.
NSTU President Liette Doucet told reporters she hopes this is a signal that the government is willing to bargain.
