NEB gets three new members to study Energy East

Ottawa has appointed three new members to the National Energy Board as it prepares to reopen hearings into the Energy East Pipeline.

One of the new members is Don Ferguson. Ferguson, now at UNB, was a longtime civil servant and former deputy minister under the Shawn Graham government. Marc Paquin of Quebec and Carole Malo of Ontario have also been appointed.

Intergovernmental Affairs Minister Donald Arseneault told the Telegraph-Journal the Energy East review process is due to restart early in the New Year.
