There was a big fire in the Annapolis Valley early yesterday.
Fire fighters from nine volunteer departments had to deal with a water shortage as they battled the blaze in the former Northills Nursing Home in Granville Ferry. There were two structures that were joined. The older one was destroyed….the newer one was saved, although there was damage. Nobody was injured.
The cause is considered suspicious as tire tracks and footprints were seen in the snow near the building.
