A Saint John woman has been charged after the fire this week in Crescent Valley.
The fire in the public housing complex on Taylor Avenue has been deemed arson. 26 year old Rea Ann Thompkins was in court yesterday. THe Telegraph-Journal reports she requested a psychiatric assessment and the juge agreed sending her to the Restigouche Hospital Centre for 30 days.
Court documents listed Thompkins as living in the apartment of the four unit building where the fire started…but no other details are being released yet. She’ll return to court January 6th.
