A homeowner in Rothesay was saved by his smoke alarm early yesterday morning.
He got out safely when the flames erupted in his house on Riverview Avenue around 3:30am. The house is still standing but there’s extensive damage.
One fire fighter suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene by paramedics.
